Alvaro Goicoechea,
Warehouse Parts Manager

“Tito” started with Kaiser-Battistone in 2010. Prior to working here he was with a counterman at Klaff's. He's also been a cook. He knows the plumbing supply business inside and out as he has almost 20 years in the business.

When he came to Kaiser-Battistone the warehouse was in disarray. Parts were not categorized effectively and many were just misplaced. He spent his first two weeks reorganizing the warehouse and now it is properly stocked saving time and frustration for our technicians. He is also the “go-to” guy, helping out when someone is out sick or going out to help a customer during an emergency.

An avid New York Yankees fan, he never misses a game and frequently goes down to the Stadium. He was at the Stadium when David Wells threw his perfect game.

Kenia Marquez,
Customer Service Representative

Kenia has been with Kaiser-Battistone since 2009 and worked in customer service for a computer company prior to that. She has over nine years of on-the-job customer service experience. She is a very quick learner and now is well trained to recognize problems when people call for service.

She has learned that when someone says “I hear water” that they indeed do have a problem and someone from Kaiser-Battistone should make a house call, especially when hurricanes and tropical storms come through the area.

Kenia has a young son and is an avid TV and movie buff. She watched (and some say memorized) all six seasons of Lost. She also likes action and scary movies.

Sarah McNamara,
Customer Service Representative

Sarah started with Kaiser-Battistone in April, 2011. She has over 10 year’s experience as a Customer Service Representative. Additionally she has four year’s experience as a professional Massage Therapist. Combining the two at Kaiser-Battistone is her “secret sauce” to excellent customer service.

A while back a 30-year Kaiser-Battistone customer called, but was reluctant to have service done. Sarah convinced her to have someone come out to her home to review the situation. The customer called Sarah back a few days later and thanked her for the advice as the service call was needed.

Sarah’s hobby is photography and when not helping customers solve problems with Kaiser-Battistone she can be found behind the lens of a camera or at the Silvermine Art Guild taking photography classes.

Earl Moore,
Dispatcher

Earl has been with Kaiser-Battistone for since 2006, working as the dispatcher sending plumbing and septic technicians out to solve customer problems. He has over 35 years in the customer service business as prior to working here he worked in the building trades industry.

He is always ready to help a customer. One Saturday afternoon he received a call from a customer for an emergency pumping. Their regular provider could not come until Monday morning and they were having out-of-town company at the house that night. Earl dispatched a Kaiser-Battistone septic technician and the problem was solved.

Earl is an avid football fan and you can find him in front of his television every Sunday watching the Jets. When not watching football he is spending time with his family and friends.

Karen Walsh,
Accounting Manager

Karen has been responsible for all of our accounting systems and computer IT necessary for Kaiser-Battistone to run efficiently since 1987. Prior to working for our company, Karen worked for a computer software company, testing new software and client set-ups. She was a bookkeeper for a company which owned 7 chain restaurants. In all, Karen has more than 30 years of accounting and computer experience for small and mid-sized businesses.

Recently Karen noticed a customer was very late on a payment and hadn’t responded to any notices sent. She called the customer and found out due to a broken leg, the customer was completely immobile and had been out of work for 2 months. Karen understood the extenuating circumstances and the customer was delighted when Karen forgave the finance charges and gave her a payment plan she could afford at that time.

Olivia,
Customer Service Representative

Olivia has been with Kaiser-Battistone since June, 2011. Prior to working here she worked as a Customer Service Representative with another regional plumbing company. Overall, she has 5+ years working in a customer service capacity. She is very good at her job because she enjoys talking to people. As the “Dear Abby” of Kaiser-Battistone, she enjoys hearing people's problems and then trying to help solve them.

A customer called needing a septic tank cleaning and he ended up telling Olivia his life story. She most enjoys providing people their service options and then letting customers make their own decisions. She feels very uncomfortable “selling” a service someone does not want (although they may need it.)

Olivia is an avid reader and most enjoys Agatha Christie and British mystery novels. When not reading, she can be found in front of her TV watching the BBC.
