Ignacio Ceja,
Septic Technician

“Nacho” has been with Kaiser-Battistone since 1998. Prior to working here he did mason work for All American Pools. Overall he has more than 20 years’ experience helping to solve customer problems.

He knows the septic business well. He was at a customer's house a few years ago inspecting a system. The customer said another firm told her she needed a new septic field. Nacho checked her trenches and found they were dry and did not need replacing. All that was needed was a new distribution box and a short section of pipe. What could have been a big job turned out to be a relatively minor repair and the customer's system was working perfectly again.

Nacho is a family man. When not solving septic problems for Kaiser-Battistone he can usually be found playing with his kids on the weekends.

Jeff Festa,
Septic Installer, Septic Technician

Jeff has been with Kaiser-Battistone since 2009. He installed septic tanks in Florida for 15 years prior to coming north to work with us. He was one of the top installers on Sanibel and Captiva Islands (if you are going to install septic tanks anywhere, it might as well be in such a beautiful place as that.)

Jeff works off of engineered drawings to install new systems. Septic installation drawings often look great but once at the site many times there are obstacles which don't appear on the drawings. Kaiser-Battistone is blessed with such an experienced installer who can spot troubles and correct potential problems on the spot, saving customers time and money. And installing the system correctly assures years of proper operation.

When not installing septic systems, Jeff can be found playing with his three kids or splitting wood for his fireplace.

Anderson Mumford,
Septic Tank Service Technician

Anderson started with Kaiser-Battistone in 2000 and never looked back. Prior to Kaiser-Battistone he worked removing oil tanks, installing septic tanks and building asphalt driveways. He is a man who enjoys working with his hands and is very good at what he does. He has over 15 years of septic and mechanical installation experience under his belt.

Anderson has pumped thousands of tanks during his career with Kaiser-Battistone. He is an expert at finding septic tanks in people's yards. Many think their tank is in one location, but Anderson's keen septic tank sense often reveals the truth lies elsewhere.

In September, 2011 Anderson was on his way to a customer's house when he found a wallet in the road. He picked it up and tracked down the wallet's owner. She was overjoyed to say the least, especially since it still had all of her credit cards and over $200 cash in it. As the person wrote to Kaiser-Battistone, “You are lucky to have such an honest, trustworthy employee as Anderson.”

Anderson loves to work repairing cars, any make, any year, and any model. He is also addicted to buying tools. He can't walk past an auto parts store without going in and at least checking out the latest arrivals.

Deon Spencer,
Septic Tank Service Technician

Deon has been with Kaiser-Battistone since 2010. Prior to joining us he worked as a delivery man for City Line Foods.

When Deon goes out to a customer's home for a tank cleaning he always checks to make sure the work is necessary. One customer was skeptical when Deon arrived, but he assured the homeowner a pumping was absolutely needed. She was so appreciative that she tipped him when he was finished. Deon also goes above the call of duty. After pumping an elderly woman's tank she asked if he could take a look at her sump pump. He was glad to and he helped her with a minor adjustment so it worked properly and the woman was much relieved.

Deon reads history books in his spare time (and an occasional comic book too). He also loves to play basketball.

Sam Verderame,
Septic Technician, Driver

Sam is new to Kaiser-Battistone as he joined the company in March, 2011. Prior to coming here he worked for Connecticut Tank Removal doing Haz-Mat work. He is grateful to have moved on to much safer work.

Sam graduated high school three years ago and has been diligently working ever since, thankfully most recently for us.

He is a quick learner. A few months ago Sam was working on an installation and suggested a different procedure which ultimately resulted in thousands of dollars in savings for the customer. He likes his work and is learning more every day.

Sam is an avid auto mechanic and on the weekends you can find him with working on his truck and hanging out with his buddies.
