April’s Messiest Drain Award
A local convenience store called and requested help with a clog in the trough drain in front of their walk-in cooler. They asked us to come and snake the line because the drain was holding water. We brought along our snake, but also came prepared with other equipment in case the problem wasn’t in the drain line. Sure enough, we found a different scenario.
After arriving at the site and examining the trough, we discovered the clog was not in the drain line but in the trough baskets. Large amounts of debris had been collecting from months of sweeping and mopping the floors. Luckily, it was a simple fix to clean out the baskets and get the drains working properly again.
