Deer Lake Boy Scouts Reservation

We are currently working with the CT Yankee Council – Boy Scouts of America to build a septic system to service the new Cub Resident Camping facilities at Deer Lake Scout Reservation in Killingworth.

Deer Lake is a fully developed camp with many venues. The first impression is that of visiting a typical, beautiful New England farm - including great lodges, challenging COPE and rock climbing, amazing geological features for exploration, waterfront activities and much more.

Deer Lake covers 253 acres. Weekend camping has been the major use of the camp but its programs include a Learning For Life summer day camp for youths 5-17 years old and wilderness training sessions for adventurers of all ages. New this summer, the Cub Scout resident camp program will move from Camp Sequassen to Deer Lake. The new facilities will include a magnificent timber frame dining hall (that looks more like a barn), new lean-to campsites and shower houses, as well as many new program features.

Kaiser-Battistone is proud to be able to help design and install the septic systems for this venture.
